This station will enable you to access the contents of SATA 2.5 or 3.5 disks from a PC, and also to clone (duplicate) a disk to one or three other(s).
Description:
Dock for SATA HDD, type 2.5" or 3.5".
Support of all SATA standards: 1.0 1.5G, 2.0 3G, 3.0 6G etc.... up to 14TB per HDD.
USB3.01 5GB connection (PC-side "A" type plug) or eSATA (SATA 6G support).
High-quality external power supply supplied with 6.5A current, ensuring high power stability.
Function 1, access to disk data:
Connected to a PC via eSATA or USB, this dock will enable you to access SATA HDDs to read or modify their content in the same way as with a simple USB key (read/write at 5GB Superspeed).
Function 2, cloning one HDD to the others:
Off-line, i.e. not connected to a PC but only to its power supply, this dock will clone the contents of one disk ("source") to the other(s) ("target") in identical fashion. Simply press the "clone" button on the front panel, and that's all there is to it.
Cloning progress is indicated by a digital counter on the front panel (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
