Use:
For industrial or domestic assembly.Allows a PCIe 16x card to be mounted on an 8x slot.
Warning: the bandwidth of PCIe 8x is lower than that of a PCIe 16x slot, and the card thus used will have to be compatible with the data rate possible in 8x otherwise you'll notice operating or transfer anomalies.
Features:
Fits any server or desktop PCI Express 8x slot,
Supports all 16x PCI Express cards and will throttle them to 8x (which can be prohibitive, validate before purchase that your card will be able to operate with the throughput of an 8x port),
Sheet length: 145mm (overall length 190mm),
Gold-plated contacts (better connectivity because resistance to oxidation over time).
