Product Details
For mounting an internal SATA device (hard disk or DVD/CD drive) on an IDE ribbon cable, in place of a conventional IDE device.
Adapter plugs directly into SATA device.
Sold ready to use.
Description:
For all-speed SATA devices (SATA 1, 2, 3...) with 22-pin connector (15+7).
Ultra ATA 133 / 100 / 66 / 33 compatible.
100% hardware adapter, does not depend on operating system and does not require software installation or drivers.
The transfer speed of the SATA device will be that of the IDE controller (i.e. maximum 1.5Gb/s).
Assembly: plug the adapter into the SATA device, set the jumper to master or slave as required, power the adapter, then connect everything to a female IDE connector.
Adapter using a JMicron JM20330 chipset.
