Product Details
This Visual Fault Locator (VFL) emits a 650 nm red laser beam with an output power of 100 mW, enabling the injection of a visible signal over a distance of 100 to 120 km in a single-mode or multimode fiber.
The device offers two emission modes:
CW (Continuous Wave): continuous emission for precise location,
2 Hz modulation: pulsed signal for rapid identification of loss or break points.
It is equipped with a universal 2.5 mm optical interface compatible with SC/ST/FC, and comes with an FC–LC adapter for testing 1.25 mm connectors as well.
Powered by two 1.5 V batteries (included), the VFL guarantees an operational autonomy of more than 9 hours in standard use.
The metal alloy casing incorporates a connector protection cap and ensures good heat dissipation and increased impact resistance.
The unit comes with a carrying case.
