Application:
Connects a Firewire 400 device to a Firewire 800 connector.
Features:
FireWire-compliant connectors (400=IEEE1394a, 800=IEEE1394b).
AWM cabling. Cord length 1.8M.
Socket on 400 side: 6-pin male. Socket on 800 side: 9-pin male.
Please note that connecting a Firewire 400 device to a Firewire 800 port will not accelerate the Firewire 400 device, as exchanges will take place at Firewire 400 speed.
