External tester on LPT parallel port for motherboards - 2-digit display - Post DIAG

For DESKTOP or PORTABLE PCs. Parallel port interface (LPT).
Compatible with most existing BIOS (Award,Ami, Phoenix, Tandy etc...). Requires an available parallel port.
This tester will enable you to quickly diagnose the source of a motherboard failure.
Three-step operating procedure:
1.Plug the tester into the computer's parallel port, and connect it to a USB port via the small cord supplied (this supplies the tester with power), then boot up the computer (even without an on-board processor or RAM, the board will boot!).).
2.The display will then give you an error code, which may or may not correspond to the POST code of your BIOS (Power-On Self Test).
3.Refer to the instructions supplied (in English) and you'll find the correspondence between the error code and the origin of the fault. There are also numerous databases on the Internet to help you refine your results.
