This card will allow you to control an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
For all M.2 "M Key" PCIe SSDs only
Specifications:
For 16x PCIe type 3.0 slot. Please note that only a 3.0 slot will guarantee maximum performance from the NVMe SSD.
Compatible with types 2230 2242 2260 2280.
Does not require a driver, works transparently with the operating system. However, your motherboard must support NVMe SSDs (UEFI Bios). Windows 10 is strongly recommended for NVMe SSDs. Windows 7 and server 2008 do not support the NVMe protocol.
Socket M2 type PCIe M Key: the SSD will be connected via the PCIe connector on the card to the motherboard, and will be seen as an additional hard disk.
Board with detachable bracket, SSD fixing screws supplied.
