Product Details
For DESKTOP PCs on PCI EXPRESS slot. Adds 4 SATA ports (internal) to connect 1 to 4 SATA III peripherals independently.
Compatibility:
SATA 3 (backwards compatible with SATA 1 and 2).
Theoretical maximum data rate with SATA 3 hard drives: 600 MB/s (i.e. 6GB bandwidth).
Drivers included for: Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64, Seven, 8 and 10-11 32/64 - Linux Kernel 2.6.19 and beyond.
Features:
PCI EXPRESS 1x port (PCIe 1.0) - Will fit a PCIe 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x slot.
Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 disks, but the maximum data rate will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s respectively).
For hard disks or optical drives.
Maximum transfer speed 600MB/second (6Gb bandwidth).
Four independent SATA III ports.
Supports NCQ (32 commands/port).
Compatible with FIS port multipliers.
Compatible with 'port multiplier' devices .
Installed immediately (plug and play).
Board supplied with two brackets: High profile + Low profile.
The 88SE9215 chipset does not support RAID array mounting (prefer version 9230 if you want to mount your disks in a RAID array).
