KALEA-INFORMATIQUE

Since 2006, a specialist in computer components, connectivity solutions, and electronic interfaces.

About Us

Founded in early 2006, KALEA-INFORMATIQUE is a French brand specializing in the design, selection, and distribution of computer and technical electronic components.
The brand is owned by COMPOTRADE, which handles its exclusive distribution in France and internationally.
For nearly 20 years, KALEA-INFORMATIQUE has been developing its expertise in specialized product families, with a particular focus on manufacturing quality, product variety, and the availability of solutions that are sometimes hard to find on the market.
What sets us apart is our direct relationship with manufacturers. This close relationship allows us to monitor manufacturing processes, ensure we fully understand the technical specifications of our products, and offer items tailored to the needs of both professionals and individuals.
All our products are brand new, selected according to rigorous technical and quality criteria, and come with a one-year warranty with standard replacement.

Our Areas of Expertise

Our catalog is organized around several major families of components and connectivity solutions.

Network Cards and Communication Interfaces

An extensive range of network controllers and cards, up to 200 Gb/s, for copper and fiber-optic infrastructures.
Our solutions cover numerous formats and interfaces, including PCI, PCI Express, OCP, M.2, and Mini PCIe, for laptops, workstations, desktop PCs, and servers.

Expansion Cards and Controllers

Solutions for adding communication interfaces or expanding the connectivity and storage capabilities of IT systems.
USB, FireWire, serial, and parallel cards; SATA, SAS, and M.2 NVMe controllers; and other specialized interfaces.

PCIe Switch and Splitter Cards

Advanced solutions for extending and distributing PCI Express connections, notably through MCIO, SlimSAS SFF-8654, and OCuLink interfaces.
This equipment allows multiple PCIe devices, controllers, or storage units to be connected from a single host interface, depending on the card’s architecture and available PCIe resources.

Storage Adapters and Interfaces

A wide selection of adapters, converters, and controllers designed to enable interconnection between different storage formats and standards.
Our products include interfaces such as SATA, SAS, M.2, U.2, U.3, NVMe, and PCI Express, as well as solutions for data access and disk connection during maintenance or recovery operations.

A catalog of complementary products

In addition to these specialties, KALEA-INFORMATIQUE also offers a selection of technical components and accessories:

• Test, measurement, and analysis instruments, particularly for network infrastructure.

• Specialized power supplies, including those for less common voltages such as 13.5 V or 16.8 V.

• Audio, video, and computer switches, distributors, and splitters.

• Specialized cables and connectors, tailored to different product families.

• PCI Express risers, expansion cards, and expansion plates.

• Barcode and QR code readers.

• USB accessories, hubs, flash drives, and connection interfaces.

• Specific adapters, converters, and connectors, some of which are particularly rare on the market.
Our goal is to offer precise technical solutions, including for atypical connectivity needs, legacy interfaces, or specialized hardware architectures.

How We Operate and Our Clients

Based in Provence, in the south of France, COMPOTRADE operates exclusively online, with no physical retail locations.
We distribute our products throughout France, including the overseas departments and territories, as well as internationally.
Shipments are made by mail or express carrier, depending on the destination and the selected delivery method.
We serve a diverse customer base:

• Businesses and professionals: system integrators, resellers, manufacturers, IT departments, maintenance centers, laboratories, and government agencies.

• Individuals: users seeking specialized components, hardware upgrade solutions, or specific connection interfaces.
We handle everything from single-item purchases to medium- and large-volume orders.

Procurement and Custom Solutions

Our knowledge of manufacturing sectors and our established relationships with manufacturers also enable us to act as a distributor and supply partner.
We can assist our business clients in sourcing specific products, supplying components in large quantities, and—depending on the project—developing or adapting custom products.

Our Environmental Commitments

COMPOTRADE participates in extended producer responsibility programs and complies with its obligations regarding the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, and packaging.
The company pays mandatory environmental fees and also participates in voluntary collection and treatment programs.
