Application:
For desktops with PCI slot. Allows you to add 4 SATA ports to connect 1 to 4 SATA peripherals, either independently or in a RAID cluster.
Compatibility:
SATA 1/2 - Please note that the PCI bus bandwidth will restrict the card to the maximum PCI bus speed (i.e. 264MB/s for the fastest 32bit, i.e. PCI2.3). This speed is therefore higher than SATA I (150MB/s), but lower than SATA II (300MB/s).
SATA 3 compatible (maximum speed limited to that of the PCI port, i.e. 264MB/s at most). Compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista 32/64, Seven 32/64, 8 and 10-11 32/4, linux...
Features:
32Bit 33MHz PCI port at 5V, compatible with SATA 1, 2 and 3 (see "compatibility" paragraph), accepts SATA 2 with restrictions. For hard disks or optical drives.
Maximum transfer speed 264MB/second (PCI2.3),

The 4 connectors are internal and hotplug.
