For DESKTOP PCs on PCI EXPRESS slot. Adds 2 internal or external SATA ports to connect 1 to 2 SATA III peripherals independently.
Compatibility:
SATA 3 (backward-compatible with SATA 1 and 2). Theoretical maximum throughput with SATA 3 hard drives: 600 MB/s (i.e. 6GB bandwidth). Drivers included for : SERVER2003 / SERVER 2008 / XP 32 and 64bits / VISTA 32 and 64bits / SEVEN / 8 / 8.1 / 10-11 32 and 64bits .

Compatible with SATA 3 (revision 3.2), accepts SATA 1 and 2 drives, but maximum throughput will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s respectively).
