Product Details
For DESKTOP PCs on PCI EXPRESS slot. Allows the addition of 4 SATA peripherals via 4 internal SATA ports and 2 external eSATA ports, independently or in RAID clusters.
Compatibility:
SATA 3 (backwards compatible with SATA 1 and 2). Theoretical maximum throughput with SATA 3 hard drives: 600 MB/s (6GB bandwidth). Drivers included for: Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64, Seven, 8, 8.1, 10 32/64 - Server 2012, 2012R2, 2008R2 - Linux Kernel 2.6.19 and beyond.
Features:
PCI EXPRESS 2x port (PCIE base 1 and base 2 compatible) - Will fit a PCIe 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x slot.
Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 disks, but maximum speed will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s respectively).
For hard disks or optical drives.
Maximum transfer speed of 600MB/second (6Gb bandwidth).
Four independent SATA III ports, two of which are available either internally or externally (Jumper selection on board).
Supports NCQ (32 commands/port).
Compatible with 'port multiplier' devices.
Installed immediately (plug and play).
The 88SE9230 chipset supports RAID 0/1/10 and Hyperduo. The card has its own BIOS.
