Product Details

Allows two PCI cards to be used on a PCI Express x1, x2, x4, x8, or x16 port.
Plug and play, no installation required.
Prerequisites: Your motherboard must support this type of bridge, which is not always the case. In addition, some cards that support PCI PCIe bridges will only do so with a specific type of chipset.

Specifications:

Pure hardware PCI/PCIe bridge with ASM1085 CHIPSET.
Compatible with PCI 2.2 buses.
Compatible with 16-bit PCI (3.3V) and 32-bit PCI (5V), voltage selection via jumper.
Maximum throughput on PCI ports: 66MB/S.
Power supply via SATA power connector to be connected to the PC's central power supply.
Mounting lugs for screwing the PCI plate onto a support. Insulating adhesive pads supplied.
Connection via 50cm 5GBps USB 3.0 cable (you can use a longer cable if you wish).
Standard bracket (High Profile) with cut-out for the USB3 cable.
Dimensions of the plate carrying the 2 PCI ports: 130mm x 55mm.
Recognized by all operating systems, no driver required for the adapter itself, which is completely passive.

WARNINGS:

  1. Your motherboard must accept this type of bridge, which is not always the case. In addition, some cards that accept PCI PCIe bridges will only do so with a specific type of chipset. Check with your motherboard manufacturer to ensure that this system is compatible.
  2. Please note that if you use a PCI card with an incorrect voltage, you may damage the PCI card or the adapter. You are responsible for setting the jumper to 3.3V or 5V.
  3. This adapter uses a USB cable, but is not a USB adapter: you cannot connect the PCI card to a USB port using the USB cable; it is only used to connect the two motherboards together.
