1- This card establishes a PCIe-to-PCI bridge, not all motherboards support this type of device, so check this information carefully before use (you don't risk damaging anything, just that it won't work).
2- PCI bandwidth is very narrow compared with PCIe bandwidth, so don't expect performance equivalent to a native PCIe port, except of course for PCIe cards that would use a small bandwidth (e.g. firewire, USB, networks below 1G etc.)....).
