This adapter allows you to connect an M.2 SSD directly to a PCIe port for use as internal storage.

Compatibility:

For any M.2 PCIe AHCI or NVMe SSD with an M or B+M form factor.

Supports 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors (card length adjustable via break-out lines).

Gen 3.0 compatible.

Your motherboard must support NVMe SSDs.

Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Specifications:

For PCIe x1 port (compatible with x1, x2, x4, x8, and x16 ports).

Compatible with 2230/2242/2260/2280 types.

Plug-and-play, bootable.

M2 socket, PCIe M Key type (supports M2 PCIe M Key and B+M Key SSDs).

Connection between the x1 connector and the SSD-supporting card via a flexible ribbon cable.

Two cables included: 10 and 15 cm.

Note: Your motherboard must support PCIe SSDs (UEFI BIOS) and must be PCIe 3.0 or higher; if you are using an NVMe SSD, Windows 10 is recommended.

The SSD will be connected via the card’s PCIe connector to the motherboard and will be recognized as an additional hard drive.
