PCIe 3.0 16x controller card for 4 M.2 NVMe M Key (M2 NGFF) SSDs. VERSION 2824

This card allows you to control four M.2 PCIe M Key (or B+M Key) SSDs. This model has one PCIe 3.0 16x upstream port, and 4 PCIe 3.0 4x downstream ports.
When an SSD is requested, the card will manage the toggling to that SSD itself, so that the toggling is not supported by the processor or the PCIe port. This function enables the card to be accepted by motherboards that don't know how to manage the bifurcation, and also optimizes the bandwidth allocated to each SSD.
For all M.2 "M Key" PCIe NVMe SSDs. On this version, the SSDs share the bandwidth in pairs; overall throughput, though very fast, will nevertheless be less good than on the other Switchtec version.

This card does not support hardware RAID, but you can set up software RAID.
