PCIe card for mounting high-performance M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe or PCIe-AHCI M.2 SSDs.
For 4x PCIe Gen 3.0 connector (4x, 8x and 16x compatible).
For 110, 80, 60 or 42mm M2 PCIe Gen 3 and Gen 2 SSDs.
M.2 type socket. NGFF 22110-D5-M (not compatible with M2 B Key SSDs, which are Sata and not PCIe).
Fixing of the SSD by adjustable screw according to its length.
PCI Express 3.0 (PCIe 2.0 compatible, but performance will be lower as bandwidth is reduced).
Compatible with double-sided SSDs (1.5mm).
Hard drive activity LED pins to connect to your enclosure.
Low Profile format (supplied with two brackets, high profile mounted on the card and low profile supplied in the box).
Requires no driver, hardware adapter transparent to the operating system.
Windows 11, 10, 8.1, Server 2012 R2, Linux, Fedora, SUSE, Unbutu, Red Hat natively support PCIe-NVMe & PCIe-AHCI SSDs. For use with Windows 7 or Server 2008R2, you'll need to upgrade Windows (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2990941).
Mac Pro 2009, 2012 and 2012 only support M.2 PCIe-AHCI.
