Product Details
A comprehensive tester with professional finish. Combines the advantages of a multimeter with those of a network tester. Also allows testing of both RJ45 "copper" and fiber networks thanks to its VFL function.
Multimeter.
Allows measurement of AC and DC voltages and currents, measurement of resistances, diodes and continuity. Also allows temperature measurement.
Tests continuity, mapping of RJ45 cables.
For CAT5/6 cables, checks UTP/STP cords, Indicates wire-by-wire discontinuity, maximum length tested 3km. Displays the wiring diagram on its screen. You'll be able to see if the cord is straight or crossed, for example, or if one of the 8 wires of an RJ45 cord is cut or has a bad contact. Several scan modes available. Allows you to give the resistance of continuous fis.
The display is an LCD type, backlit to be readable in the dark.
Tests the length of RJ45 cables.
Allows you to measure the length of a cable from one end to the other if the cable is functional, or from one end to the breaking point if there's a fault located. Choice between two modes: Digital and Analog.
Complete power supply test (PoE Power Over Ethernet).
For power supplies from 5V to 60V and from 0 to 18W. Identifies which contact carries the power supply and provides information on voltage, power supplied. Possibility of testing batteries using the same tool and the supplied adapter.
Flashing port and locating.
Allows you to simulate activity on a cord to flash the diodes on switches or network cards to identify where the cable is connected.
Thanks to the tracer supplied, it's possible to locate a cord in a set of cables.
Flashlight.
The tracer and main module feature a diode to light up like a torch.
VFL.
Visual Fault Locator to locate optical fiber faults. Power 10mW, range 10km.

Note that the tester's interface is in ENGLISH.
The main unit has a Lithium battery rechargeable via USB, the tracer runs on a 9V battery (supplied).
