PCIe x8 to miniPCIe riser adapter with 15cm or 25cm shielded cable for mounting a PCI express 8x card on a Mini PCIe slot

Allows a PCIe x8 slot to be obtained from a Mini PCIe card slot for connection to a conventional PCIe card.
Compatibility:
Fits any notebook with a miniPCIe slot, plug and play, a purely "hardware" adapter requiring no software installation.
Use:
The miniPCIe part is housed in the notebook, connected by a shielded ribbon cable to the PCIe x8 socket that will house the PCIe card.

The PCIe socket is powered:
- in 3.3V via the miniPCIe port
- in 5V either via USB cable (hence the USB socket on the socket), or via floppy cable (floppy/sata adapter supplied).
- 12V via floppy cable (floppy/sata adapter supplied).
Depending on your PCIe card, you'll need to use the appropriate power supply.
