For DESKTOP PCs on PCI EXPRESS slot. Adds 4 SATA ports (internal) to connect 1 to 4 SATA III peripherals independently.
Compatibility:
SATA 3 (backward-compatible with SATA 1 and 2). Theoretical maximum throughput with SATA 3 hard drives: 600 MB/s (6GB bandwidth). Drivers included for: Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64, Seven, 8, 10-11 32/64 - Mac OS X 10.6 and above, Linux Kernel 2.6.19 and above.

PCI EXPRESS 2x port (PCIE base 1 and base 2 compatible) - Will fit a PCIe 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x port.
Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 disks, but maximum speed will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s respectively).
For hard disks or optical drives.
Maximum transfer speed 600MB/second (6Gb bandwidth).
Four independent SATA III ports.
Supports NCQ (32 commands/port).
Compatible with FIS port multipliers.
