To share a USB device between two computers. Each PC will see the device as if it were directly connected to it.
A small piece of software installed on each of the PCs will make a 'traffic light' appear in the taskbar: you can turn this light green or red using a keyboard shortcut, thus controlling the switch remotely!.
Typical use: sharing a printer or camera between two PCs.
