MiniSATA (=SlimSATA) to USB 2.0 converter Use:
To mount an internal SATA device (hard disk or optical drive/writer) with a MINISATA-type interface on a USB 2.0 port.
The MiniSATA interface is also called SlimSATA, and is generally the one used on the internal CD drive of a laptop PC, for example.
Compatibility:
For hard drives with capacities from 20GB to 2TB.
Compatible with SATA I and SATA II standards.
Compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, maximum speed 480MB/s.
The MiniSata device will be powered by the USB2.0 port, no need for an external power supply!.
Compatible with ALL WINDOWS and MAC, plug and play, no driver installation required!!!
