RS232/422/485 to TCP/IP converter IP server for serial device
Use:
These small boxes are "TCP/IP <> serial" converters that make it quick and easy to implement network communication to any device with a serial port. They replace traditional serial communication with Ethernet communication. This type of converter uses a totally transparent communication protocol, so the user doesn't have to master TCP/IP protocols or modify the programs used to communicate with the serial device.
Software is supplied to create a virtual COM port so you can use the TCP/IP converter even if your device doesn't natively support TCP/IP communications.
